How to write a plugin for the Opera Plugin Developer alpha release
==================================================================

Coding:
-------
Have a look at the examples that you will find together
with this file (under the 'src/examples' directory).

Compiling:
----------
Compile your plugin as a Shared Object (look at the example makefiles for
hints).

Installing & Running:
---------------------
1. Put your plugin in /boot/home/config/add-ons/Opera/plugins/
2. Rename it to 'testplugin.so' (Yes, this is primitive... We'll fix
   it kinda soonish.)
3. Load the plugin as usual in your html file (for example:
   <embed TYPE="application/plugin" width=200 height=200 border=2 align=right>
   </embed>
4. On the command line, you will have to provide Opera with the URL to your plugin page:
   For example:
     opera http://www.my.domain/plugin.html
     or
     opera file://boot/home/index.html
5. When starting Opera, you will see three message boxes appearing one after the other.
   This is a feature, not a bug... ;-) Seriously, it's the status and tool bars that will
   be ready in the beta. Just click OK to remove them.

If (when?) you run into problems that you think might be related to the Opera/BeOS plugin
support, please don't hesitate to write to this address: opera-beos-plugins@hernlabs.se

Please do not file any bug reports other than plugin related ones, as there will be a
dedicated beta testing period.
