SubDued

Do you ever find yourself compelled to read YouTube comments, even though you know ahead of time that they're only going to be ignorant, insulting, bigoted, profanity-laden or otherwise depressing? While SubDued won't completely protect you from them, it does hide all comments on video preview pages, so that no amount of scrolling will result in you being subjected to them. The video responses area and comment box remain below the video, such that you yourself may share your (hopefully reasoned) thoughts, as does the "View all comments" link, so you can still read the comments on the rare occasion the need surfaces. Otherwise, it lets you focus on what you're there for--the videos--without making you deal with the extraneous stupidity.
