Troubles with skin - incorrect file for Opera
Clean, fresh and attractive.
Hi. I've started using Opera again and I've noticed that the Status Field that is on the statusbar (or that you can put on the statusbar by clicking Tools, Appearance, Buttons, Status, and dragging Status Field onto the status bar) is a white box against this light blue skin. I didn't notice before probably because I didn't have (or removed) the Status Field on the status bar. When I use other skins, the Status Field matches those other skins' color. With this MS OFFICE 2003 skin with its overall light blue color, I personally think that having the Status Field as a long white box down there doesn't match the rest of the light blue color of this fabulous skin. Could you fix this or advise me how to fix this to make the Status Field have the same overall color as the light blue color of this skin.
I like this skin except for one thing: there are no large icons
cool skin
I like it a lot
I love this skin because it is cool and it saves the space... all the required toolbars are on hand and clearly visible....
Beautiful skin. I like how it's so compact as well as pretty.
Thank you for your "MS Office 2003" skin for Opera. I've been waiting for something like this since I was using the similar "Outlook 2003 Blue" theme for Firefox - see: https://addons.mozilla.org/themes/moreinfo.php?application=firefox&id=890 Like Fesquivel, I also prefer larger more Office-like icons. For instance, I prefer the larger buttons with the Firefox "Outlook 2003 Blue" theme, but for now I get the larger button effect (although the icons are still small) by turning on the text underneath the buttons for your "MS Office 2003" skin for Opera. I bounce back and forth between using Firefox on a desktop PC and using Opera on a laptop (the desktop PC is more powerful for handling the somewhat bloated yet still excellent Firefox while the laptop is an older PC on which the superb Opera just breezes along effortlessly), and your MS Office 2003" skin for Opera helps to ensure that I don't get too dizzy going back and forth between the PCs. After tweaking Opera to act more like what I'm used to over on Firefox, I am happy that you have provided your "MS Office 2003" skin for Opera. Thanks again.
Thank you Marc. Two thumbs up.
Marc, Nice skin! I've never used a skin on Opera before, but I may be keeping yours for a while. Really nice porting of Office 2003 look. Thanks for keeping the 'square' buttons. I find the round ones on other skins nice to 'look' at, but tough to 'work' with.
Its a download progress. This style also applied to the progress for fetching email and page loading progress.
i've got a non skin-related question: what is that percentage-thingy (60%) on the thumbnail-screenshot of your skin? is that a download field? progress bar? looks cool! ^^
I'm glad so many people like this skin. I plan on updating the contact images soon. I'm going to keep the popular ones that people like (Gmail, eBay etc.). Mostly I am going to replace a few of the less desirable objects with more people.
Awesome! This is the skin I've been waiting for. I try to find an Office 2003 Blue skin for all my apps. And I actually tried to create my own skin but I didn't get very far
I think I've found my new favorite skin! Nice work!
very very nice would love it to be color friendly
vespesian & jhobo4: Thank you! fesquivel: The default icon size across the Office platform is 16x16. When you choose the option to view "large" icons - the same 16x16 ones are used and magnified to 32x32. I can stretch the images as its done in office. But the result will be the same large blurry icons. I can try to create the large tool bar images at say 24x24 or 32x32 as MS should have probably done. Rather than stretching them. I just cant release a skin with the 'large' image quality that you see in Office. Its terrible. But let me play with it over the next couple weeks and we'll see what I come up with.
As usual another great skin!
Giving a second thought, I like the space-saving nature of this and your other skin (native mode), but I still miss the natural-sized Office icons. Can you put 'em so the user can just choose between small and big icons with the Toolbar's option "large images"?
