Using this on my "old" PC on which I gave all applications a vintage look...even after 12 years this skin is still 100% usefull!

Me too. By the way, Where can I find buttons for Opera 3 or earlier? I'm using Opera since October, 1996. I'm really looking for those old buttons.

Yes, very nice indeed. Although retro, it holds its own in functionality against any skin.

Love a bit of nostalga It is a bit unusable for long periods of time with all the menu and toolbar stuff enabled aswell, but i guess that is the point of the tutorial

really, really liked this skin, although i'm not the nostalgic, OS/App-style-based fan. still very thoroughly done skin, and i LIKE the smileys :)

Wow, great skin--start to finish, didn't skip a detail. It's a nice nostalgic throw back--and a great lo-fi skin. Perfect. (I love what you've done with the emoticons. I hate those little yellow guys ;)

Since some of you were asking, I have put together some toolbar and menu setups specially for this skin. In addition, there is also a stylesheet to help convert the page rendering to the old HTML 2.0 rendering from MultiTorg Opera v1.0. http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/operaStuff/MultiTorgOpera.html

This skin in Opera's past looks good, at last ! Suggested for someone, who use their Windows-compatible laptop with Opera browser (after Opera 8 FINAL), to use Opera v1.0 as right skin. Opera v1.0's Status bar part looks fine this time ! Go for it !

i was very happy to see this one updated for 8.0 final. thanks!

Using this skin on a 8.0 Beta under Debian Sarge - no color scheme, no icons, just plain text, main bar, page bar and address bar, M2 running as default panel. Fantastic.

It really gives complete feeling of Win 3.1 app. Everything is well-skinned and quite readable. I prefer it over blurry osx candy skins.
