Please update Operatic Orbit Retro for use with 9.01. Proton
I've always liked this skin, but I'm really annoyed for the "Panels" ans "Save" buttons not being included. These are basic functions, man, so give it a go!
Very nice skin - my favorite. But could you change the color of the scroll bars to this orange - or some else? Now it is as grey as many web-pages and hardly to see. i.e. this page is grey like the scroll bar. Greetings, Thomas
Looks good and has a great long-time-usability!
superb! but in next version make more icons available in 'big' mode.
Clean, crisp, attractive and everything in the right place. Nothing too bright or garish with sensible buttons and images that are intuitive and nicely laid-out. In my opinion, looks best at 100%, with text-labels turned off (you don't need them) and with large images. Absolutely superb.
I like the Operatic Obbit skin. I switch off and on between it and the Opera Standard skin, which I also like. The two are my favorite.
... and uploaded it as a new theme (sorry if this isn't the right thing to do). I uploaded it as Operatic Orbit 4.02. If this isn't the right way to do this, let me know, please! One thing I'm curious about though, is why nobody else has complained about this. I'm running Opera 7.60 P3 on Linux. Maybe that makes a difference?
as subject says, AWESOME job!! I'm using this skin in Opera 7.60 P3, and the top bar of the tab does not meet up with the rounded edges of the tab. It's 1 or 2 pixels too low. How can I fix this in skin.ini? Thanks!!
Simple, clear and fresh Absolutely love this one!
The best skin I ever found!
I love this skin, but had to manually edit the .ini file so that Opera would recognize the Hotlist icon as the Panels icon... other than that, the skin is wonderful - the colors are pleasing, the buttons are nice (although in small-button mode the dropdown arrow is the same size as the icon, slightly confusing)... all in all, almost perfect!
This is an awesome looking skin. I've always enjoyed it in Mozilla and the Opera version is very faithful to the orginal. I'm not sure why, but it's also the fastest skin I've tried on my older (Celeron 1.1) PC. Even more so than Windows Native skins. Rendering speed goes way up everytime I switch over to it. Interesting!
Simply beautiful. One of my top 3 skins. Looks exceptional with the Sand color scheme. My only minor tidbits of feedback are that normal UI buttons need a bit more edge definition (shadow contrast); the small images are extremely small (thank goodness for Opera skin zooming); and because of their small size, checkboxes, drop-downs, radio buttons, etc. are slightly hard to differentiate -- including the secure padlock. Other than these, great job! I look forward to seeing some future skins.
I don't have much time to update it right now. I'll update it when I finish my examinations. Hang tight...
Nice skin, but the active tab needs to be highlighted better. I can't tell which tab is currently active.
Great skin, but could you update it for 7.50? You say 4.01 is 7.50-ready, but in the final version there are some icons that are not in your skin.
The skin is great for having clearly defined those tough dropdown areas on the toolbar, and for providing them greater space, particularly a little on the right side. A slight miss is still captured correctly. My 2 wishes. 1) the SCROLL on the scrollbar needs sharper contrast to the rest of the bar. 2) The panel buttons (at least with text only) need to be more clearly defined with some type of bordering perhaps. But I really like the skin.
This is a very good skin, I'm using it right now!
I liked this skin from the first sight - I use a similar one with Mozilla on my other computer. Although I haven't really tested all Opera functions yet, I gave a high rating because of its clear arrangement which makes it easy to use for an Opera-newby like me.
