This Opera skin is based on the Pheonity iconset by Lim Chee Aun. Phoenity icons distinguish themself by the clear outlines and consistent colors.
All icons are easy to recgonize, making it easy to use Opera with this skin.
Backgrounds, dialogs and button-backgrounds are blue-grey colored which enables the user to keep his focus on the page as opposed to on the user interface.
This skin also includes a number of additional icons not found in the standard skin. Those can be used in custom menus and toolbars.
different versions Phoenity New: The recommended and well mentained version.
Phoenity: Compared to "Phoenity New" the buttons in this skin are more 3D-ish and less Web2.0-ish. Not all features found in "Phoenity New" are incorporated into this skin.
Phoenity Native: Only icons are taken from the skin, all dialogs, backgrounds, ... are rendered using your operating systems settings
large icons
All icons are present in two size: 16*16 px and 24*24 px. By default you'll only see small icons. To enable large ones for a toolbar right click on that toolbar and choose "Customize...". In the dialog appearing check the option "Large images" and close the dialog by pressing OK.

I'd love to have an updated version of Phoenity (I'm using Phoenity Redux, it seems to have vanished from here) for Opera 11. I keep on trying other skins that are more recent, but come back to this one even though it doesn't work properly. But I can't do the skin-making! Please, someone...

This is one type of skin that can actually make people switch to Opera just to use it. Excellent use of colours for actual functionality, not just for looks.

i love the new tabs.... but too bad they only look good when they are up top. i have my tabs at the bottom, so it looks kinda retarded with my setup.

I swear that some of you People are very unbelievable in the way that you can fix something....I had a so-called--network's fellow installing my Video driver's....it did not work so he installed the other Nvidia driver...so my video card run's hot in online gaming.....he got fired for not doing what i wanted.....maybe he was a fellow who wanted you to come back so many times to say this is my PC. Well good work there with the time it takes to do something right.. i will try it ..an thank's again.... <-
This looks great whit the "Royale" theme for Win XP. But for the default XP theme "Luna", I prefer the native version of this skin. They are both great! But sadly, on the 18th of January 2006, the creator of Phoenity, Lim Chee Aun, wrote on his blog site "cheeaunblog": "From today onwards, the Phoenity site and all related projects will be suspended. In other words, development of all Phoenity themes and skins are discontinued".

Your all skins are great
This is my favorite skin! 5 stars. But I can't get the CSS files from your blog to work. The 'cache' and 'about' pages work, but the email headers have disappeared. :-( I'm using Opera 8.51.
