Description
Enlightenment Clock.
Real day time clock (not just half day clock). Lets you organize time without pain on the brain as oposed to popular illusionary analog clocks. Be at ease.
The problem:
it is hard to plan your time in the day when you got no visual thing to asociate time with. Do you got the usual 12 hour clock? Then, you might already have noticed how it is brain-bending when you want to plan not few hours ahead, but for all of the time in a day. You want to see a bigger picture - the day, but you can't. So trying to organize your schedule while looking at usual analog clock gives aditional strain on your body and mind.
The solution:
Enjoy new generation clock that kills the old one in one go, so it never bugs you any more. This brand new computer science achievement will guide you through your day. It has all the hours of the day at your sight. So planing the schedule of your day has never been so easy.
Sun and Moon:
It's only natural to mark the most important indicator on the top with the sign of Sun - the midday time, here shown as 12th hour. It's most enlighted time of day, so planing before and after the midday hour equally would result in taking up the most bright hours of the day. (and it's natural for animals or humans to NOT sleep on midday.)
The nights rest is best when the moon is up in the sky with hours equally distributed till and after the midnight. So, the time when you are closest to bed, or the ground and not up - here is also shown at the bottom - the 24th hour indicator.
Four parts of the day?
I'll extend more than just midday and midnight, because not everyone... or actually rare person would know: when does morning start? when does day start? when does evening start? when does evening start? As most just know the midday and midnight.
Morning starts on 3 o'clock, aka 3 am. Day starts at 9 o'clock, aka 9 am. Evening starts 18 o'clock, aka 6pm. Night starts at 21 o'clock, aka 9 pm. Did anyone said that to you before? Well it is just like that.
Hours divided in even numbers.
It's good for the brain also! I personaly am glad to use whrist watch with even numbers - it comes from the feeling of how it is easy to calculate mathematical equasions, or program while writing some programing code.
Minutes and seconds
- divided in even numbers too. Same as the hour case - easier to plan your time, make appointments, distribute the schedule of the day through more precise distribution of time than just hours.

20110507T1815-Saturday Vaidas Sarcevičius: Not to be critical -- only to recommend (many things): 1. You can use the word "daytime" to describe your clock. (Neither of them work here as adjectives) 2. The stand-alone SUBJECT does NOT make a sentence. Change "clock). Lets" to "clock) lets" 3. Oposed is spelled "opposed" 4. Change "you got no" to "you have no" 5. Spell asociate as "associate" 6. Change "Do you got" to "Do you have" (and usual MIGHT be called typical) 7. Spell aditional as "additional" 8. Loose the contractions (in a formal presentation): "It's most enlighted" (oops, not a word) or you may have meant: "It is the most enlightened ..." or "It is the brightest ..." 9. The punctuation for "of the day. (and it's natural ... midday.)" ought to read "of the day (and it is natural ... midday)." 10. Change "distributed till and after the midnight." to "distributed before and after midnight." 11. Change "So, the time when you are closest to bed, or the ground and not up - here" to "So the time when you are closest to bed (or the ground and not up), here" 12. I am not certain, but you MAY have meant "expand upon" rather than "extend" 13. Maybe you should call midday "noon" (as is more commonly done in American English) 14. Not to quibble, but the physical midday (or noon) and midnight events DO have analogous physical events: sunrise and sunset. (But that is a totally different discussion.) 15. You do not need the term "o'clock" in the sentence at all: "Morning starts on 3 o'clock ..." could have been put: "Morning starts on 03:00 (OR 3 AM). Day starts at 09:00 (or 9 AM). Evening starts at 18:00 (or 6 PM). Night starts at 21:00 (or 9 PM)." 16. Maybe "Did anyone said that to you before? Well it is just like that." ought to be said "Has anyone told you that before? Because, that is just the way it is." 17. Spell personaly as "personally" 18. Make "whrist watch" as "wristwatch" 19. Spell "mathematical equasions" as "mathematical equations" Visiting your website: Enligtenment Clock (at http://www.aeon.lt/daytime/) was more easily read than the plain-text above. Also, I really need to apologize for "going off" on everything you wrote. It is indeed a marvelous project you have undertaken. I only meant to offer some polish -- to make it even brighter! Bonjourno! Martin James Davidson
Cool idea, but right now, not much good if your desktop is black. How about a colour choice? The hands are similar enough that some times are hard to read. Maybe the minute hand wants to be thinner? Also, that is a pretty second hand, but I find seconds a distraction. That goes for the numerical seconds too. So a 'no seconds' option would also be nice, just like the standard Windows widget.
