Description

This Simple Calculator allows to enter a whole expression and receive the result immediately. It comes with a feature to integrate the last result into the expression and a calculation history. Place a math-Expression in the upper field and press Enter. The Calculator currently supports + - * and / as operators. Special Features: Type "ans" to use the value of the lower field (the result of the last calculation) in the expression (can be done more than once in an expression) Browse the Expression History with UP and DOWN-arrow keys Settings: Decimal Separator: You can use another decimal separator for your calculations if it is set into this field. (Default is ".") Placeholder: defines the placeholder for the last visible result. By default the placeholder is "ans". History Size: defines the number of lines in the Expression History. While I thought it might have been my error (in the last version), the app still seems not to be approved for mobile devices and is therefore not available on the mobile sites. However, I'm using it on a Nokia E71 and it works flawlessly! Changelog for Version 2.1: Made Expression-History available for mobile devices (hopefully) Improvement in graphics (new Backgrounds, new application icons) bugfix: semicolons in the expression now generate an error (unless set as decimal separator or placeholder) Versioning now along with Version number of widgets.opera.com Changelog for version 0.8: Added UI for mobile devices (see screenshot). Placeholder for the last visible result is not configurable. Some paint job done Made help section better readable Disclaimer: I consider this app as final. I'd still be open for suggestions, though. Please mind, that I'm neither a programmer nor a web designer. Any hints to improve the code or design are welcome. I did not have the idea for this widget myself. In the early days of Opera Widgets there was a program with the same basic function. Thanks to whoever published that one back then for this great idea.
