Game Of Life
Game Of Life is a game but not the typical "game". It is a simulation where complex patterns emerge out of simple rules.
Description
The Game of Life, also known simply as Life, is a cellular automaton devised by the British mathematician John Horton Conway in 1970. Ref Wikipedia

Cool widget, Conway's Game of Life was always quite interesting to play with How about making it possible to change the size of the grid? Perhaps either by making the widget larger, or by making the cell size smaller? Also, it seems to occasionally stop doing anything. Gen count keeps going up but some of the cells on screen do nothing. The cells are also a bit difficult to click because of the widget starts getting dragged. You should be able to fix this by using the CSS property -apple-dashboard-region... Can't remember the specific value it required, but you should be able to find it via Google.
Hey Zomg, Thanks for the feed back. I do plan to change the grid size dynamically ( zoom in and zoom out. etc). Had some problems with usage of mouse with the widget. Will be working on that on the next update. Right now, you can only click on the cells and make some patterns and see what it emerges into. The problem you are mentioning could be due to the Still Life Pattern. In this the cells are so arranged (according to the game of life rules) that all the cells remain alive in next generation and it seems like they are not doing anything. Just try to verify with rules and do let me know if you face any issues.
What's the rulls??
