Very handy widget. Works well even with Opera v.952. Proxies seem to mask IP address and allows for browsing web at an acceptable speed.

Still working in my Opera v9.64. A very useful and time saving widget. One of the best on this site imo.

So I went through all 6k proxies, lol, and none of them work if you are on the Fortiguard Web Filtering. Gayyy

That's because a proxy already has certain types of filtering. And why would you want to ever filter the data from a proxy, what's the use in that?

Hi, any reason why it should turn off javascript? Or make a website think I have done?
  • ilgaarAug 6, 2010
This thing, doesn't work, or am I missing something? I configured the proxy settings, but I still can't by pass the firewall. It looks like it does not effect Opera's connection at all.

For all those that are BEHIND a FIREWALL in an ENTERPRISE ENVIRONMENT this little treasure won't work or will work with limited functionality due to hardened security imposed by your network administration Outgoing Connections for default proxy ports MUST be permitted so don't just comment with a "doesn't work" and at least state the version of Opera you are using This works great! Opera 11.51 Build 1087 Windows 7 (x64)
