Shrubcryptør
Description
With cryptographic and quote-curling abilities, Shrubcryptør is the opposite of useless.
It also valiantly ignores HTML quotes, allowing tags to retain their attributes.

You ARE "Lord Gyrobo the Awesome". A Hundred Thousand "Thank You's" to you for this most needed tool. :-D jin
COOL!
whats this?
Basically, you put in text with quotes, and it converts the straight quotes to their curly equivalents. For example: "I know how much you 'love' to make quotes -- and you do, don't deny it -- but don't let your life devolve into unicode," I told the ambitious writer, "until after the check comes through." Becomes: “I know how much you ‘love’ to make quotes — and you do, don’t deny it — but don’t let your life devolve into unicode,” I told the ambitious writer, “until after the check comes through.” Notice how it also combined the double dashes into a single, longer dash, and how it ignored the HTML tag completely.
Hah, so I'm not the only one who gets annoyed by these things. Great idea and thanks!
You're very much welcome.
wow, this may help with those situations where copy/paste from one site to another screws up the quotes. I need to try it out!! thank YOU!
Oh, yeah! really interesting
