A Different Kind of Opera Flash Mob

August 2, 2011 · by .ed

At Opera, we love fun stunts. Here's a non-Opera, opera-related surprise performance at Tesco in Warwick Road by the cast and chorus of Opera Holland Park's La Rondine. It's very well performed, and incredibly sneaky. Watch it through to really appreciate the crescendo effect of a more involved crowd than normal. I reached out to the team that published this to see if we can work together for a major Opera release in the future. Otherwise I might have to sing solo.

nice, maybe we can have a Opera anthem in the future opera music combined with something modern we could have Odd & Even sing with them

It's also said people with musical abilities have higher IQs - a flash mobe team can well represent Opera

Hahahaha I like how some people were just annoyed because they had to wait in line extra long, and how others looked like they farted for the first time and were trying to figure out if it was real, and what the smell was.

You know that cashiers are rated in terms of how many customers go through their line in an hour ... I hope this didn't hurt that cashier's average too much!

It is not a flash mob, it is well organised and approved by shop owner theatre action! There are no flash-mob organisations which have access to security cameras of this storage.
