Addon Highlight: StumbleUpon

November 27, 2012 · by Anna Rohleder

How do you find new and cool stuff on the web? If you're like most of us, you rely on what your friends are reading, watching and listening to. But if you'd prefer to cast the net a little wider, you can use the StumbleUpon extension in Opera on your computer.

As the name suggests, StumbleUpon aims at serendipity. It lets you browse through the websites, blogs, and pages that people with similar interests to yours have liked. Then, by deciding whether you like those same things or not, you start to get suggestions for more stuff you'll enjoy - but which you might not have found on your own.

Best of all, you can also use StumbleUpon to share your discoveries with your friends - and start introducing them to cool stuff on the web for a change!
