January 12, 2011 · by Espen André Øverdahl

CES took place last week in Las Vegas, and Sony demoed their new kick ass (*sorry*) BRAVIA TV which is Opera powered! We'll come back with more details and information, but you can read about this TV on Sony's website. Also check out their sneak peak video clip:

it would be nice (and a sort of advertisement for you) to see the opera software logo somewhere when booting the browser!

If it's Opera-powered, why doesn't it say so on the TV, or at the VERY LEAST on their own website. Seems someone got a pretty raw deal here...

If all Opera did was to offer Sony an SDK, the Opera logo is probably shown somewhere, but not very obvious. This is the way it should be. If Sony makes its own browser, why should Opera be in people's face?

Opera gets money, Sony gets a browser. I fail to see any kind of raw deal for anyone.

I think there needs to a "Opera Browser" splash screen on start up..then people will google opera browser and be like "oh!...Opera Browerz on my phone and computer!"

Opera already distinguishes between Opera-branded, Vendor-branded, Co-branded phones. Same applies to things like TVs.

Hey, it even has tabs but calls it "windows"! And it looks quite slow. Sony really has to work harder to make their internet enabled devices usable.
