Campus Crew Activities
The Opera Campus Crew continues to thrive! Our Campus Crew member at University of Glasgow has written an interesting guide on how to ensure your campus website (or the website for your workplace or community group, for that matter) validates by using the code-validator produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Check it out!
The Opera Campus Crew at University of Indonesia recently held a demo stand at the university’s event “TECHFEST 2009: Exploring Technology for Brighter Education”. The event was attended by more than 2000 people, including the country’s Director General of Higher Education.
The Opera both was very popular, with 200 people filling out our survey about Web usage. The master of ceremonies for the festival ran an Opera trivia quiz on behalf of the Campus Crew (with Opera t-shirts as prizes), and Crew members were also interviewed by the campus radio station before the event. Members from nearby Krisnadwipayana University and Gunadarma University also helped out at COMPFEST. Well done to everyone on a fantastic event!
