Chat about Responsive Web Design with Chris Mills
This Wednesday, 10 October at 13.00 GMT, one of our resident Developer Relations Gurus, author and general good guy Chris Mills is hosting an IRC chat! The topic will be one of his favorites: responsive web design.
To join the chat simply tune your IRC client to #ResponsiveWebDesign. If you are new to IRC, check out this super easy guide!
- Using your Opera, go to Tools -> Mail and Chat Accounts
- Select "Chat (IRC)" from the Add dialog. If this is your first account, answer "Yes" first.
- Enter your real name and email address and hit next.
- Enter a nickname - we recommend that you use the same as your My Opera user name, so other members can recognize you more easily.
- The IRC network is set to OperaNet by default, so hit finish.
- Click the Join button in the channel list. This allows you to type the channel name, which is #ResponsiveWebDesign.
If you rather want to use an IRC client such as mIRC just remember to use the server irc.opera.com and the channel #ResponsiveWebDesign. For more information check out Opera Chat!
