Choose Opera moderator update

Those of you who have been part of Choose Opera for some time probably know Vyoma Kapur (MissPlaced on My Opera). Vyoma, who was quite instrumental in helping us to start Choose Opera, left Opera a few weeks ago and is now pursuing other things in her home country of Singapore. I'd just like to thank her for her work here, and wish her well.

To make sure there are enough of us here to meet your needs, my colleague in Opera's marketing department, Jason Chartrand, has stepped up to the plate and will be joining myself and Daniel Goldman as one of Opera's official representatives on this group. Jason actually introduced himself on the Choose Opera forums last month, but I wanted to make a formal announcement here. Please feel free to bug him with any community-related marketing ideas you have

We just had a large multi-department meeting here in Oslo, and we're making big plans. Choose Opera will be a big part of our activities in the remainder of 2007 and in 2008. For example, in addition to our outreach activities in Japan, we plan to do a lot more in various countries around the world. More information to come!

    Hey Guys,

I'm really looking forward to interacting with all of you! Feel free to submit your ideas to me in French as I am French Canadian

The multi-department meeting here is Oslo produced a lot of great ideas for the year to come but we would like your input!

    Cheers,

    Jason

Hi Jason. Opera is great because of guys like you. I just discovered Daniel's OperaWatch blog when looking for information on Lock Tab. Didn't find anything in Opera search engines, tried the Wiki, then did a Google which took me straight there. I've been using Opera for nine years. A question: What's the best way to contribute my good ideas? I'm a writer not a programmer, and don't want my own blog. Are you and Daniel conduits for change? Good luck in your new job.
PS. I notice the MY OPERA gif on pages like this is ghosted out. Took me a while to realise this might be deliberate!
PP. Question: How do I spellcheck comments like this one within Opera? Of three online checkers I tried I like this one best :: http://orangoo.com/spell/
