Download the latest version of Opera!
Opera 12.10 is now available. With better integration for both Windows and Mac we suggest you give it a spin immediately!
Improvements for Windows
We always strive for the best possible integration with your operating system. We now support inertia scrolling and pinch-to-zoom on both Windows 7 and the brand new Windows 8! Combined with support for International Color Consortium (ICC) profile v4 (pew, don't try to say that ten times fast), Opera makes the web look more vibrant and colorful than ever before.
Retina and sharing on Mac
The latest update to Mac OS C Mountain Lion introduced a ton of new things we could play with. We are happy to say that Opera now makes full use of the new features such as Notification Center and built-in sharing for your favorite social networks. Most stunning of all with the new support for Retina Displays we are now able to showcase an even more beautiful web experience for all Mac users!
Top extensions
Opera 12.10 adds support for a wide array of new extensions. We have even teamed up with some of your favorite sites and developers to make Opera Extensions even more awesome. Check out some of our highlighted extensions right here, or view the entire Addons Catalog!

ERROR: Failed to load DLL (the box has gone now, so I don't know the name of the DLL).
So, support for Windows 2000 has been abandoned, by the look of it.

Other Google services, such as Calendar and Reader, are working fine (keyboard shortcuts and all). I don't know what's going on with Gmail, but it would be really nice to know if the problem is being worked on.

edit: after make a clean install, all works fine...at moment.

I'm now 23 and i started using Opera since i got my first PC when i was ~ 14 .
I love this browser so much.
Last week, I converted 2 users from Chrome and Firefox to Opera for u guys ^^
12.10 is a great news but there are still some problems :
1. Error 413 with G-mail. This problem is really annoying. I've to downgrade to 12.02 and it works perfectly .
It seems like every new release of opera has this problem ?
2. Copying text of the new coming e-mail is not allowed this time ? I have to forward that email to copy the content inside it. I find it really inconvenient.
Hope u guys can fix these probs soon.
Many thanks,
Have a nice day brilliant devs :x
P/S : the only reason that i still have Firefox on my system is Firebug tool.
I use this tool to get some material on websites.
I know that u guys has Opera Dragon Fly but ( in my opinion) it seems quite difficult to use.
Would u mind making it easier to use ( like Firebug) ?

I noticed an issue in that when you focus on an input field, keyboard shortcut Alt+D won't focus the address bar. Ctrl+L does.
On certain textareas (not all), it also won't accept Ctrl+Tab / Ctrl+Shift+Tab.
Ravi ShankarTuesday, November 13, 2012 7:05:53 PM
Please correct this problem or i will migrate to chrome or firefox.
OPERA USED to be the best, not any more
Žiga PirihTuesday, November 13, 2012 7:22:39 PM
I'm also having that issue when sometimes I am not able to click anything on the page.
Opera 12.10 on Kubuntu 12.10. Clicking issue is present only on linux and was also present before the upgrade.

I must use Opera 12.02 with add on touch scroller (https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/touchscroller/) in my windows 7 tablet pc (intel core ic3).
I like inertial scrolling of IE and Firefox, but Opera is the best browser in my opinion, except for inertial scrolling that is bad.

1. 64 bit version loosing focus, hotkeys not working, eg. CTRL+Space, CTRL+D etc.
2. so I am using 32 bit, I need working keys/browser ...
3. images infinite loading still here
4. some extension not working, even if updated, like hypertranslate (working few hours after update, maybe hotkey not working)
5. HW acceleration permanently absolutely unstable on 32 & 64 bit version (I am using Win7 64 bit)
