First questions for Jon

April 22, 2009 · by Espen André Øverdahl

The first voting has come to an end and you've decided that Jon have to answer the following questions:

  • Will Opera ever make a page where users can upload and find UserJS files?
  • Will Opera desktop version get a new logo soon?
  • Will Opera ever support extensions like Firefox?
  • Follow-up: Will you ever implement plugins in Opera? Why?
  • Follow-up: Will you ever release the Presto engine for other people to use so Opera can be more compatible?
  • Follow-up: What is gained by Opera (bts, staff, roadmap, etc.) being closed and secretive? Will you open up more?

Please note that the follow-up questions will be answered if we have time on Tuesday (April 28th).

You can now vote on questions Jon will answer. Also, submit your own if they have not been picked or added.

Im glad that John have to answer my question.

You should download one of the wingogi builds from Opera Labs and see its icon. IMO it is nicer than the one used for the forum.
