Fix all the redirects

May 10, 2012 · by Espen André Øverdahl

Facebook and Twitter adds a redirection to all shared links to learn what links you clicks. If you are concerned about your privacy, or just want faster page loading when you click on a link, then we recommend you check out the following extensions by developer born2code.

This extension removes Facebook's redirection to protect your privacy. As a side-effect, shared links will load faster as they are no longer passed to Facebook for redirection.

Twitter adds redirection to all shared links to learn what links you click. This extension removes Twitter's redirection to protect your privacy.

Opera is also upgraded today. Download the latest version of Opera, or update automatically by restarting Opera.
