Google News is good news for Opera Mini users
Fellow Internetters: Google made a really cool move yesterday. They optimized their news site for Opera Mini, which is a really good thing for all of our 100+ million users. We think this is worth some recognition, so if you feel like it, head over to their blog and give them some Opera love as a comment.
No matter if you are on a coffee shop, on the bus or just relaxing on the beach, this is great news. With Opera Mini and Google News, you will stay updated whenever, where ever.
The Google News team says:
"We hope that this will improve the news browsing experience for Opera Mini users around the world, including millions of people using a feature phone as the primary point of access for the web." We say: "Heck yeah". And by the way Google; Opera Mini is not only for feature phones, it is used by millions of millions of smartphone and tablet users around the globe. Try it on a crowded network - and you´ll see why!
Now head off and give those G-men some loooove!

QFT. It's a shame that they fail even years after launch to support Opera properly in Google Mail.

So it would take 100+ million desktop users for various Google services to finally become compatible with Opera? Damn, too bad it's a vicious circle :/

Yeah, they are really jerks, the only reason they made the site for oMini is because of oMini's market share. Google only cares about money.
