Know your meme smileys

A couple of days ago, the Meme smileys extension was published. It displays meme smileys in social networking sites (Facebook and Twitter for now). A table has now been added which shows what you need to type to get a smiley to appear:

Our favorite piece of feedback so far is: "OH MY GOD, this is truly the best extension in the universe." Do you agree? Want more randomness?

You can also get this table from "Manage Extensions" » Scroll to Meme smileys » Click on the tool icon » "Preferences".

Gary: they don't work because My Opera already has graphical smilies, and I didn't want to "hijack" them. Plus, that would require a completely different approach that the current one.

But of course the source code is freely available (heck, it's even on GitHub!) so anyone can add it if they feel like it :-)

Y U NO and troll smileys don't appear in facebook (al least in mine), only what I wrote. Is this just a problem with my FB or with the extension?

By the way, using it is very funny and I do think it's the best extension ever

I havenot used it yet i think it definitely is appealing. Should have extensions like this on opera mini 4.x

Nahuel: what version do you have installed? it should work without problems, I don't think there can be anything in your Facebook that can make it not work.

"Y U NO" should be written in caps, and troll needs the dashes (eg. "-troll-")...

I had version 1.3 but later as soon as I launched Opera it updated to version 1.4. I tried again and now it works. Thank you so much anyway.

James: only Facebook can add those images so everyone sees them, this extension is to have a laugh yourself. That's one of the reasons why this extension tries to convert common smilies (like "" or "X'D" or "O_o") instead of having specific "commands", so it works even if people don't use or know about this extension.
