More Opera Mini Upgrades

Opera Mini is the world's most popular mobile browser... and growing! With thousands more people using Opera Mini every day, we have to keep building out and improving our services so that everyone is able to enjoy the web.

As part of that effort, we wanted to let you know that we are bringing a new data center online for Opera Mini this week. (If you're interested in knowing more about the technical considerations that went into this, you can read the full story here about which data center we chose and why.)

While the work is progressing, it's possible that there could be a few little hiccups. For example: you might not be able to access certain websites for brief periods. (If that happens, just be patient and try again a little later.)

It's also possible - but not likely - that you might see some pages displayed in a different language. (If that happens, let us know!)

Otherwise, however, we hope everything goes smoothly, and all of you can continue to enjoy using the mobile web with Opera Mini.

Meh, given up on Opera on Android. Opera Mobile has had broken Opera link for 2 months now, and nobody at Opera seems to care.

A web browser where you can't get your bookmarks and speed dials is useless to me.

Chrome on Android is now my default browser, and the integrated Chrome experience is slowly convincing me to move my desktop browsing to Chrome too.

Sorry Opera, but you need to be more active in your support.

iwant operamini for j2me have flash animation and download manager can extention(.ja/_jar and .jad/_jad) ucbrowser can do that and lot of feature for j2me

I think you should add some information about such issues in browser directly, because hardly anyone reads this blog and many people are disappointed with site loading problems.

Using opera mini 7.5? on samsung galaxy young cdma with Smartfren isp in Indonesia.
Operamini is the best. cheap plans and awesome speed.

I use skweezer services a lot, I do hope opera makes a similar website rendering solution, I read mostly articles on sites and hates unnecessary pics and other that just eats up speed.
