A new beta of Opera for Mac

Good news Mac people - a new beta of Opera for Mac is now available for download and testing! Opera 10.50 for Windows reached final quality in March. We are progressing toward a final version of the Mac version soon, with a Linux version after that.

New for Mac

Enhanced Mac user interface

Along with a unified toolbar, Opera now uses the Cocoa and Core Text frameworks for improved performance and a native Mac OS look and feel.

Multi-Touch trackpad gestures

On MacBooks with the Multi-Touch trackpad, you can pinch to zoom in and out, swipe two fingers to scroll, and swipe three fingers left and right to navigate backward and forward in browser history.

Growl notification support

Growl users can now get all of Opera's notifications from downloads, Opera Unite, Opera Mail and more.

nice! more testing at library computers! But the main issue is the websites they use which dont support opera. I'll make a list and report and see what opera can do and try to also contact the site admins.

I don't own a Mac, but the Opera 10.5 looks fantastic on that screenshot. Good job, guys!

Btw, how come the title bar is still present for Mac version? I thought the main idea here was to get rid of it to save some vertical space.
