Opera 10.20 alpha

It's Opera Widgets' time to take the stage with Opera 10.2 alpha. Opera Widgets was first introduced as part of the Opera browser back in 2006. Now they are all grown up and ready for a life outside their comfort zone: the Opera Web browser!

As a bonus, this release features updated versions of our favorite widgets exclusive for Opera 10.2 alpha. Check out the new Twitter and GTranslate widgets. For more cool Opera Widgets head on over to widgets.opera.com!

Remember: this is just a first glimpse of our new approach to running Widgets outside the browser. In the end, you will experience Opera Widgets running as stand-alone applications on your desktop - even if Opera isn't running.

To find out more check out labs.opera.com or head on over to the Desktop Team and download it now! :headbang:

OMG! 10.2 alpha!! yes!! I hope there is more to come than widgets, at first I thought I just saw Windows 7 taskbar integration!

I love the idea, but I believe some sort of widget manager is needed. However, I may be mistaken, since the goal here is to make them just like any other program, unlike widgets of, for example, Mac OS, Vista, or Google.

    dit it support CSS3.0 border-radius?
    Please add this feature

I second DD64's request, Opera plays very nice with my CSS3 stylesheets apart from border radius.

This Opera Talks refers to border-radius

Thanks for the link, most appreciated.

The Widgets's autonomy is good option for Opera closed. A good option for Opera running, would be the widgets adapted to the side panel (similar to the "Gadgets" of WindowsVista's side bar) working within the same widgets's panel: In the top of the panel, widgets's list; In the bottom, the active widgets. That would be wonderful. I love Opera's side panels.

No, there isn´t any border-radius support.
    Thats quiet annoying^^

Yet another convenience that enables smooth, seamless navigation
to your key destinations for the day. Thanks again to Opera and the talented contributors, both internal and external.
