Opera 11.01
Opera engineers never stop working on the next generation of Opera features. While they work hard on new features and updates, it's time to address some stability and security issues with the release of Opera 11.01.
In addition to the security and stability updates, Opera 11.01 also reverts changes done to mouse gestures. This change should make old mouse gesture users feel more at home with the new Visual Mouse Gestures.

However, the Acid3 Test result is 97/100 instead of a perfect score.

Thanks.
I guess as far as web standards are concerned, I should trust the Opera Team blindly.

Can anyone share some updating experiences and if theres a problem tell (or maybe a link to where tech issues about the updates are discussed)?
"...Opera 11.01 also reverts changes done to mouse gestures. This change should make old mouse gesture users feel more at home with the new Visual Mouse Gestures."
Are visual mouse gestures mandatory and/or what do you mean by 'revert' ?
thanks
UPDATE:
altough its recommended to backup often, update process went without a problem, gmail looking good here, visual gestures didn't re-enabled themselves, and thankfully the old feeling of the gestures is here again, custom menus(menu.ini) were thrown out the windows as usual so i only had to restore those, custom toolbar still in place.

This upgrade to 11.01 did not provide this option. I don't know if the problem is with Windows XP or the new Opera upgrade software but this went badly, froze my laptop for 1/2 this am and again when I turned it on again this pm. I don't think anything was lost, after forcing Opera closed and restarting Opera after the upgrade completed this afternoon the toolbar and bookmarks re-appeared.
I hope nothing was lost and I hope this doesn't happen again. All previous upgrades worked very well.

I have been using Opera for about 4 years and it runs great.
I have been using my netbook, ASUS Eee PC 900 for 4 years and runs OK.
I have all my passwords on the Magic Wand tool.
My computer has been getting a little slow. And I fear it's death.
When my computer finally ... dies, and I get a new one (and put Opera on it, of course!) and log connect it to Opera Link, will my passwords be there.
**Thanks in advance**
