Opera hits Bucharest

Are you an advanced developer, Web technology expert, Opera fan or avid Opera user? Then you and your friends are welcome to meet Opera in Bucharest on Saturday November 8, 2008. This is an informal gathering and a great chance to meet official employees of Opera, but also other fans and evanglists.

The venue is Caru cu Bere and we'll be present there from 4:00 p.m. There will be free food and drinks.

Our Vice President of Quality Assurance Snorre Grimsby will give a talk at this meet up.

We encourage everyone to bring their CV and meet representatives from the Human Resources and Engineering departments of Opera Software if you're looking for a job or just have questions about recruitment.

Come on Zoli, move your ass to Bucharest, the best beer you find at "caru cu bere" only, since the 19-th century, Caragiale has been there, too

Anyway, it is the Faculty of Automatics And Computers, Polytechnic University Bucharest, that is the best place for a meeting.....i have no idea who you will meet at Caru cu Bere, which is a big restaurant but...

There was no Opera at Caru cu Bere. The receptionist showed us a note from Opera and sent us off to a restaurant down the road, but the guys there had absolutely no clue whatsoever about what was going on.

mrmass, we were there, in the Chocolat (or what it's name was) in the back, too bad you didn't find us... Some people did though and we had a good time

Well maybe somebody should have told that senile old man at the entrance bar what was going on, because had no clue and didn't even know who or what "Opera" is. Too bad... I even had my custom made Opera shirt on me
