Quick Fix for Opera in Gmail

Since our latest Opera release this week, some of you have unfortunately experienced problems with a popular webservice from Google: Gmail. We're working hard to fix this issue automatically for you, but if you are still experiencing problems with Gmail, then try one of these two quick fixes:

Quick Fix 1: Delete your browser history (and close tabs). Restart Opera, and Gmail should work as normal.

Quick Fix 2: Go to opera:config, find "Use Spdy2" and "Use Spdy3". Uncheck them. Click save and restart Opera.

This error is triggered when you loose Internet connection while Gmail is still running. When you connect again, the service has trouble continuing and when you close the tab and re-open it, you will not be able to login again.

The 413 error message many of you experience is unfortunately not only exclusive to Opera 12.10, and can also happen without the SPDY protocal in other browsers, but Quick Fix 1 works there as well.

that fix doesn't work for me. I'm behind proxy and I don't know it's caching options.

I dont trust Google enough to use Gmail, something about them creeps me out too much. Yes I use Android on my phone but that was the only choice with the circumstances.

The difference between Opera mini & Opera mobile is vast. I've downloaded Opera mobile. Now the browser is more clear faster I hope.

Is this the same problem as the one I am having since I upgraded to 12.10?

www.google.com doesn't load; and when I bring up "site preferences" it will not let me edit the fields.

Fix 2 got rid of the error message, but there's still trouble with...

Subject has to be chosen before Recipient can be filled in.
Double click needed to switch to the text field.
Recipient field doesn't remember previously used addresses.
Attachments are extremely dodgy, and don't work 9 times out of 10. Worst bug by far!
Cursor floating above random areas of the screen overrules keyboard input.

Also, multiple sign-in is still a jumble, with Opera forgetting not only the passwords but entire accounts at random.

I'm stuck using Chrome for sending e-mails for now... Bummer!
