Saved Pages in Opera Mobile

July 25, 2012 · by Espen André Øverdahl

Did you know that you could save pages in Opera Mobile and view them later?

This is a really useful feature for those of you who are not on an unlimited data plan or just want to read something offline or when you don't have a working data connection. This is how it works:

When you have come across an interesting article (like our travel suggestions) and you want to save the current webpage to read it later (even if offline), then follow these simple steps:

  1. Select the menu icon, then "Saved Pages".
  2. Select the + icon next to the page you want to save.
  3. Edit the title if you wish, then select "Save".
  4. To read it later, select the menu icon, then "Saved Pages".
  5. To delete it, long-press or long-click it to bring up the context menu, then select "Delete".

I don't know what's going on, comments page of subscriptions keeps disappearing, help from Opera with this would be gladly received (have submitted an error report) .

Great feature. Problem is the last line "To delete it, long-press or long-click it to bring up the context menu, then select "Delete"" doesn't work.
