Security and stability update for Opera Desktop

Following our Opera Mini launch today, we also released a security and stability update for Opera Desktop.

Opera 12.11 should solve some crash issues as well as prevent two potential security issues. This update also includes a fix for some Google services that turned troublesome after SPDY was released from its cage.

This update is available through auto-update, but if you want it straight from our servers, download Opera 12.11 with security and stability updates!

    there was huuuuuge cpu consumption difference between 12.10 x32 and x64 release, x64 was consuming 50% of cpu!!! Was this fixed in this version?

    Fatal error (1578) issue has not been corrected.
    Still not able to use my netbank.
    (Unless I untick "Certificate revocation lists for ssl" in opera:config)

    Some of the pages go white, and the browser freezes. Then it loads pages 20 sec. before the page is opened for reading. same bug was also in the previous version, but now, more often

    Just downloading it now. Actually anything that detracts from my user experience with Google is a good thing. It is turning has turned into M$fud.

    seems to have sabotaged the ability to move maximise and minimise the Window which is now fixed on full screen without access to the Opera menu bar. After so many years I can't find a way to use Opera.

    these updates need careful care with gmail you tube, images, loading before being released. I always wait a good 3 - 4 weeks before updating latest from opera, which is a sad indictment.

    having to use webmail, and trying Thuderbird - that should be Crying Thudderbird, but at least it has page max and min and I can access my desktop, Opera is still locked on full page. I'll try to download new copy

    In desperation at not being able to use 'my' Opera (since 19 years?)I found and trashed opera.ini. Happinezzzz. So keep a substitute browser handy for googling..........:jester:

    I wish to see an only opera logo rules the laptop. :king: :king: I mean, same as the internet explore & Windows 8.
