It's only for OEMs at the moment as far as I know. It won't be showing up in the Android market anytime soon

This makes me want to use Android for my next phone platform. I'm pretty excited about seeing Opera on Android!

If Apple will not accept Opera on the iPhone, my next mobile phone will have Android in it!

Good news for Nexus One users
    but
    1. The camera was shaking too much, they should put it on a table and record it.
    2. Which type of connection was used (Wifi/UMTS/GPRS). I concern because the loading time is too long (just loading 2 lite pages The New York Time and Wikipedia and BBC News).

As an Opera user since pretty much day one I can't wait to get this to run on my Moto Droid!

It's kinda funny, I'm thinking of getting a droid too! I'm curious, will this support the HTML 5 video tag?

The 3rd Android NDK was released today, hopefully it opens us Android so that Opera can run on all android phones, not just custom HTC builds.

Please release Mini 5 beta for Android too.

Any idea when we'll see this available to download?
  • tomassplatchSunday, June 27, 2010 10:47:35 AM

good question, but we arent sure if it will ever be...
  • MichaelTuesday, July 13, 2010 5:29:45 PM

That's a shame. I loved Opera Mobile on my old Nokia E71 and wish I could have it for my HTC Hero as well.
  • Superrrrrdurt!Friday, September 3, 2010 10:28:12 PM

Hope this will be released some day. With my high end Android phone -HTC Desire, it's a little odd that I use Opera Mini on it.
Flash is not my biggest turn on; widget support is! The same widgets that work on my desktop browser, on my phone, is just sexy!

We all keep hoping but not a peep?
