What?! No Opera Mobile on that poll :furious: Okay, I choose Opera Mini then
  • Aleksander AasTuesday, February 26, 2013 9:38:47 AM

Could not agree more! Let's pretend Opera Mobile is Mini and vote like there is no tomorrow!
  • ClashCityRockerTuesday, February 26, 2013 10:36:29 AM

I might vote for that one that was shown at MWC last night, but it's not available :-(

The current Android Opera Mobile is in such a sad state, I have long since moved to Chrome on Android. The moment you broke OperaLink 5 months back, and never bothered fixing it was the moment you lost me as a Opera Mobile user...

ClashCityRocker has a point. I wouldn't really vote for Opera in its current state. Voted anyway...

Agreed. I even submitted support request but never got a reply. I haven't moved to another Android browser yet — until now I was hoping Link in Opera Mobile will be fixed some day.

You may have had enough but you still could consider helping them to help you  http://my.opera.com/community/forums/findpost.pl?id=13625562

The thing is, it's NOT that hard to fix. You only have to look at what they changed in OperaLink between the last working version (12.0) and the broken series 12.1x and they will find the problem.

Infact you can even work around it, install 12 and then upgrade, and Operalink appears to continue working.

However I have long since moved to Chrome on Android, whilst it may be a little slower, it's not noticeable on my Nexus4, and it looks and feels SO much nicer to use.

Sick and tired of Opera's excuses.

I have voted for opera mini.
  • ErikWednesday, February 27, 2013 5:58:16 AM

quite hard to choose a browser for Android, I currently use InBrowser - Incognito Browsing, really hard to beat that speed, sadly Opera, Firefox, UC browser are given permission to take pictures/video at ANY time... :sherlock:

Opera said the Android version is coming "Very Soon", with the iOS version "later", and tablets later than that.
  • auraThursday, February 28, 2013 7:06:05 PM

    Opera Mini was up to 25% when i voted this morning {however the poll itself was invisible until i switched to cell phone native browser}

I will not vote for opera, sorry, you do not support mobile browsers properly. The HTML5 support is non-existent and symbian opera mobile version is outdated ages ago. I don't wanna be rude but seriously... Nokia browser became much more better! and on my android I choose google's browser without a doubt.. you took too many projects (ice browser, opera tv, mini and mobile browsers and so on) , and now can't maintain them properly. Opera is dying at least numbers shows that...
  • Grzegorz LasekSaturday, March 2, 2013 9:02:28 PM

there are no symbian updates. I use Opera Mini and is 1000000% FASTER than android browser.

I would have voted for Opera but after the news that they are going to start using Webkit, I figured what was the use since they all will be basically the same browser with a different theme on top. Opera WAS my get the job down fast browser... Oh well.
