Are you a student or educator who is passionate about bringing Opera and Web standards to your campus? Then become a volunteer member of the Opera Campus Crew, and join our team of more than 700 Opera representatives at 400 schools and universities in 40 countries around the world!

As a member of the Opera Campus Crew you can organize events about Opera and the Web (whether a contest, presentation, demo or 'dorm invasion'!), approach computer labs and internet cafes about installing Opera, lobby your school or university to adopt Web standards, interview people about their experience with web browsers, and work with campus media. Now is a great time to join the team, as school vacation begins and you have some spare time to make plans and recruit your friends for activities for the upcoming semester!

Joining the Campus Crew is an opportunity to gain new skills, learn more about Opera and the Web (and help others do so, too!), receive thank you gifts and a reference letter from Opera Software for your efforts, and interact with new people from all over your campus, country and the world.

Read more information and apply today to become a member! Once you are accepted we will send you a 'Get Started Guide' and introduce you to existing members at your campus. We look forward to welcoming you to the team! :knight:

I'm a Opera Campus Crew member from Vienna, Austria (no, not the big country with the kangaroos, but the much smaller one in the heart of Europe!).

I really recommend to become part of the Opera Campus Crew (at least, if you feel like having interest in Opera, web standards and so on).
You will get to know a bunch of really great and nice people (I even met 2 very cool chief devs!).

So join us, what are you waiting for?

Synchronization for 1 time(open->close opera) would be handy for school and other public pcs.
As example, Opera Browser has some bookmarks earlier, you log in in your synchronization with marked "Synchronize until closed". Your bookmarks and other stuff you choose are added or replaced with default. When closing Opera all settings would be replaced with older.

By this way any person who sits to a public, school pc could synchronize his/her bookmarks(or anything else...). Giving a felling of using a home pc

I´m from Mexico, and so far far what I have learned with the Opera Campus Crew is to learn more about web technologies and to develop myself better speaking in front of people.

By joining Opera Campus Crew you get to know a people with you interests and excited about the web and letting people know how to surf the Web in a better way.

I am Felix Kimaru from Kenya.

I have had more than 15 activities so far here in Maseno University and my home town, Eldoret and the experience is wow! Lets join hands guys.
