That info is mentioned in the message 'IMPORTANT: Click here to begin using your account' you found in the account when you opened it for the first time.

IMAP server: imap.myopera.com port 993 (SSL only)
SMTP server: smtp.myopera.com port 587 (STARTTLS only) or 465 (SSL only)

    Check the port numbers.

IMAP server: imap.myopera.com - port: 993 (SSL only)
SMTP server: smtp.myopera.com - port: 587 (STARTTLS only) or 465 (SSL only)

What code do you mean? If you have an 'operamail' mail account, that is not related to the new 'myopera' mail accounts.

This new e-mail is very impressive. I am working it hard without a single problem. It's not very feature rich (yet), but I'm sure there is a lot planned for the future. This is really 1st class.

Just briefly check and I like it.
But there is one, potecially messy, inconsistency. Profile has address „my.opera.com” and e-mail has address „myopera.com”. People may be confused and mix them.

One of two bugs we're working on, staff members see the same problem, you're not alone :coffee:
  • Thu WinMonday, April 11, 2011 10:55:18 AM

How about the not able to use bug?
  • ZhengLeiMonday, April 11, 2011 12:12:38 PM

Now everything goes normal. I successfully log in the operamail(beta) with the changed password. I think it's caused by the delay of operamail(beta)'s serve.
    Whaterver, thanks for you response

  • Shifat TaushifThursday, December 1, 2011 1:34:18 AM

I found some problems using the new opera mail.

Whenever try to change the Massage Format to "Rich Text", it saves the setting. But when I try to create a new message, it is still on "Plain Text"; when I go to the Settings Menu, it is reverted back to "Plain Text". Any solution? I'm using the latest Opera on a Windows 7 64bit Machine.
  • Johan BorgThursday, December 1, 2011 10:59:30 PM

@shifat96: It's already fixed, will be deployed soon.
