I tested all major browsers (Opera Mobile, Dolphin HD, Firefox Beta, Chrome, Maxthon, Boat) that work on Asus Transformer Pad TF300 and, from the usability point of view, they all suck one way or another.
I'm not talking about which pisses further away (i.e. has a faster Javascript engine), which has a bigger dick (i.e. loads a page 0.653 seconds faster), or some other shit like that.
I'm talking about which is more usable. Which has more options to open a tab, which has more options to do with text copied in the clipboard, which can open and close a tab using the least clicks, which adds a new tab when I click a link in my e-mail app (unlike Chrome), which restores my tabs (session) from last time I used the browser (unlike Opera Mobile), which can switch between tabs in less clicks, which can do all those things without moving my arms around like an orchestra conductor (i.e. do those things while laying down on the bed, on your back and holding the tablet with both hands on the lower corners of the tablet, like a normal human being would hold a book) etc.
So far, the best I could find is Dolphin, but there's no WOW! like there is with Opera for desktop. I fucking love Opera for desktop on Windows and I would pay for it, if needed (just don't sell it to Facefuck...err...Facebook), even if there are so many free browsers out there. I'm so sad I can't say the same about Opera Mobile.
I repeat, I'm only talking about the experience on a tablet, not on a phone. Very different things.
I still have to try UC Browser, because the featurephones (where Opera Mini rules) version had so many options it got overwhelming, so, I'm really curious how the tablet version looks like.
I will also try Puffin on Android. If I really like it (i.e. it has WOW!, like Opera for desktop), I will buy the payed version.
If those two also suck, there is definitely a need for a new browser for Android on tablets.
