Just installed Opera Mobile 11 over the 'ol 10 beta on Android.

Love the look of the Opera button in the corner, and like having flash available in the browser!

    Kudos

when opera release opera mobile 11 & operamini 6 for wm6?
  • FulerenicTuesday, March 22, 2011 8:02:36 AM

Hey, where is version for Windows Mobile 6.5?! Many people still have smartphones with this system, HTC Diamond and HTC HD2 are popular and not so old devices. Why do you support Symbian S60 (old crapware with really weak hardware) or exotic MeeGo (very rare system, which will never be popular). I'm very disappointed with this. And desktop Opera still adds crazy features, but not repair old bugs, I'm going to try Firefox 4.:rip:
  • PatataTuesday, March 22, 2011 8:04:14 AM

Does that mean that flash is only availible on opera team's favorite plattform (android) ?

It depends if the device is flash enabled or not. We don't make the flash plugin for phones, but we use it on phones where flash is available.

I'm really happy with Mini and Mobile for Android. Especially Mobile 11 is much better than 10.1 Beta for Android. Congratulations to the developers and everyone behind the development of Mini/Mobile

But not for Symbian and Flash Lite, right?
Btw. Is there any way to use the quote feature in this blog with Opera Mobile?

Hardware limitations, I think. This should change with newer phones and (possibly) newer Flash.

It lets you use the phone's own player. Opera Mini itself won't support video because the whole point of Opera Mini is to save bandwidth.

Any chance of having the Tablet interface of Opera Mobile on Android 2.2 Tablets, such as the Archos Gen8's (e.g. A70, A101)?

At the moment I'm getting the usual Opera Mobile interface which has pretty large buttons for my 7" screen.
