When Opera Mini finally gets to the iPhone it will attract so much attention on Opera in general that mass media will have no choice but stop ignoring them, as it -sadly- currently happens.http://files.myopera.com/Tamil/Smilies/ThumbsUp.gif -

More of the same, then? Perhaps the new 1.5GHz ARM chips and 4G will finally put "true" browsers on a par with "client" browsers, but few can afford a high-end smartphone. Mini will be with us for years.

Wow Opera MIni 5 on the iPhone looks promising. I really wish Apple approves it. Apple should remember that when browsers compete, the users win.

Good Luck team!

why is it that FB marks choose opera links as "offensive" to others?

i hate when FB does that it is so annoying!
Cutting SpoonMonday, March 29, 2010 10:29:05 PM
FB users do that. I've done similar with most of their crappy sidebar ads.
Charles SchlossTuesday, March 30, 2010 3:59:02 AM
You can tell facebook that that is a mistake, they have a report thing in the help

I have seen that before

While I agree opera mini is much faster then safari, this video is misleading because ESPN's page is coded poorly. It requires the full version of the webpage to be downloaded first then uses javaScript to redirect users to a mobile page.

I really think Apple will pick opera mini and also on the
ipad as well.
