Your new Facebook Speed Dial

August 16, 2011 · by Aleksander Aas

Facebook Preview provides instant notifications every time you open your Speed Dial! No more refreshing Facebook every minute, just browse and your Speed Dial will notify you when it's time to check Facebook. Thanks to Milan Korenica for this awesome extension!

We love all the nifty Facebook features, except perhaps for the new Facebook Chat. Facebook Chat Sidebar Disabler works exactly as advertised. Install, get the old Facebook chat, profit. Much love to Vittgam for this gem!

I'm using only the "Better Facebook 2" extension, it's good for cleaning links and enabling the full width layout and floating header...

There are no public google+ api's yet.

I really love this extension... But I think Facebook is not happy with extensions like this, because I don't come on Facebook as much as first

I use F.B. Purity (http://www.fbpurity.com/ or https://addons.opera.com/addons/extensions/details/fb-purity/5.0.0/?display=en). Not only can it hide chat sidebar, and other UI elements, it filters all of those spammy application and like messages.

Just like Eric, mine is constantly refreshing (at least that's what it appears to be doing) and hasn't shown ANY notifications at all yet despite me having had plenty of activity on my FB account. It's of no use at the moment.

My favorite Facebook extension? Why it's Facebook Blocker: https://addons.opera.com/addons/extensions/details/facebook-blocker-2

It blocks annoying Facebook content (Like, Connect, Recommended, etc.) from non-Facebook websites.
