Your Top Downloads

December 7, 2012 · by Anna Rohleder

It's been a few weeks now since we introduced the super handy download manager feature in Opera Mini, so we wanted to check in and see how you're enjoying it.

But we were also curious about what kinds of content you find it most useful for.

What are the files you download the most? Is it:

Music?
Ringtones?
Games
Movies?
Photos?
Documents? (including PDFs)

Let us know in the comments!

And if you haven't grabbed this update yet, you can download new Opera Mini with download manager from here right now!

I am using an LG900 phone. When I tried to upgrade to ver 7.1, I was told it was not available for my phone. Had to duwnload public build (unsigned). When I attempt to use DL Manager, it gives me a `Download Failed ` message. Any suggestions or solutions.

As requested on the "Opera News Community Notice Board" on 10/12/2012. I am happy to say that the files I maily download are maily Freeware/Shareware Applications and Programs.

I would also like to mention that I additionally download websites, emails and other services online to my computing devices. This allows me to access and save information either on or offline for personal reference for use a later date, which I can then read as needed.

As a user of the Opera & Opera Mini Browsers for a number years I find the products & services provided by Opera.com to be "excellent. Also the online services offered by "My Opera" provides an excellant range of tools and facilities, allowing me to manage my "personal cloud" networking & services online over the Internet; in a "reliable, safe & secure enviroment" on any kind of Internet or web-based network; providing access to services and applications as they become available.

All the success for the future

Yours Truely

Mr V Mascord

I love download from bolt-now dead, and ucwebrowser. but this is a welcome addition, still not good for large data though, like 20mb more.. but its very fast to download srt/pdf/jpg sort of files..

really opera mini is a super faster and money + data saving browser thank you for developing such wonderful browser. Wishing every one happy mery christmas god bless you

Opera is great for most things, but if you are TracFone, Net10, or StraighTalk user, you`re screwed on downloads because there is NO SYGNED (JSR 75) Version available for these carriers. In order to download to or upload from my phone, I am FORCED to rely on UC or QQ browser. Opera, LISTEN UP. You are alienating a valuable client segment.

Happy New Year! CAUTION:
Remember to go feet first as you
plunge over the FISCAL CLIFF.
That way you can at least keep
your head above water.
