My guess would be search suggestions for Google? (and will find out in a few minutes if I'm right :p)

DSK-312764 (Crash when closing newsfeed tab)

Is it Google Search suggestions? (I already have them, thanks to ini editing, so I wouldn't know)
  • cucule17. September 2010, 11:26

still not working navigation buttons mouse.... :awww:
  • rutto17. September 2010, 11:26

    still not working with DevTrack.
I'm stuck at #9036, the last working one :(
  • Jens Christian Blix17. September 2010, 11:32

    Thanks a lot!

Are there any plans to fix the colours when using Windows Native skin? The web page dialog boxes all have light background, which makes the text invisible when it's also light. This is especially annoying in the certificate warning dialog boxes, because the important text is hard to see there.

(speaking of colours, this comment box sets text to black when hovering over it with mouse pointer, which doesn't work that well with dark background)
  • Ike Devolder17. September 2010, 11:37

no big issues here, running fine, archlinux ofcourse
  • Gereford17. September 2010, 11:40

    Thx a lot. Testing.
  • Bill P17. September 2010, 11:43

Google instant? Not for me on 64bit linux, when I open the Google Instant page it says "Google Instant requires Chrome v5/6, Firefox v3, Safari v5 for Mac or Internet Explorer v8." And the options to enable/disable are not in Google search settings
  • Bill P17. September 2010, 11:46

Pasting with Linux (64bit) using middle mouse button opens the the tab in Google with the pasted text as the search terms. Clicking back button shows text was pasted but somehow a search is being forced.

This is a regression from the previous snapshot and known AFAIK.

  • matee17. September 2010, 11:58

It's not search sugestion for google, and not google instant so what is it about?
  • Martin Rauscher17. September 2010, 11:59

I guess the screenshot shows rounded corners for the search field on Mac. (I don't know for sure as I'm on Windows...)
  • stve1017. September 2010, 12:04

Problem with server name completion if i set Try server name completion to off in Preferences/Advanced/Network it is still on.
If i remove com from the Suffixes it is still used.
I noticed it in the Unix build as well.
    Win 7 x64
  • YongShun17. September 2010, 12:13

So whats the screenshot about? :D
  • Daniel Aleksandersen17. September 2010, 12:22

Seems the screenshot needed some explenation. I updated the blog post for anyone who didn’t get it. (I was just checking whether you all paid any attention to the changelog.) ;)

DSK-312764 (Crash when closing newsfeed tab)

  • pursanovd17. September 2010, 12:23

Thanks for the build :) Its not quite clear what that screenshot means..Seems that its just for mac. Anyway: middleclick scroll is broken on windows 7 x64
  • joshas17. September 2010, 12:40

Context menu in flashplugin dissapears when I release the right mouse button after clicking on Flash content. And there's an old issue with flash content (youtube videos) in Google Reader - flash content is drawn over the top toolbar of Google Reader (outside of feeds content iframe).
ArchLinux 64bit, using new preview version of flashplugin.
And you should put WebM video in Welcome to Opera webpage ;).
  • Jarrad17. September 2010, 12:46

    Yes.
  • kyotocafe17. September 2010, 13:08

    where is the screenshot?
  • Publisher17. September 2010, 13:10

No Suggestion and in windows it doesn't look like the screenshot. I don't see new functions or a new look... so what's new?
  • Jarrad17. September 2010, 13:27

    brilliant! :) thanks.

only issue I've noticed so far is that text in menus seems to be set a few pixels below where it's meant to be (analytically, the underline for a keyboard accelerator is sitting directly on the bottom pixel of the "menu item hover" pixmap).
    GTK+ shiki-colors, debian lenny.

Other than this, brilliant work, thanks guys :)
  • Zachary Keeping17. September 2010, 13:53

I'd really love some input on DSK-312855. It's the one thing that's keeping me from switching back to Opera.
  • Gereford17. September 2010, 13:58

Middle Click on any site(for example this blog(Comment text field) under text field and text selecting not working.

    DSK-313849
  • Brandon17. September 2010, 14:18

I've been having a rather annoying bug with all the 10.7 builds where the middle click autoscroll randomly stops working.
  • Adrien17. September 2010, 14:21

Mouse shortcuts are downs, even right click in this area.

I don't know where it come, hope it's not from installing IE9 beta, but I want my browsing BACK.

Wrong place. This is a place to post actual feedback, not to hijack the comments section with off-topic stuff.

still broken (since a few builds: the same buld that introduced the mouse-navigation-buttons-not-working)

    alas, confirmed.
  • Miralla17. September 2010, 14:45

Opera still crashes when I try to open a folder in yahoo mail...is there a workaround ? It's very annoying that I have to start another browser to check my mails.
  • Shirish Kamath17. September 2010, 14:46

If the "Personal Bar" is now being called the "Bookmarks Bar" (Appearance > Toolbars) then it needs to be consistently called just that. Page right-click > Bookmarks Page still has "Show on Personal Bar". Also in opera:config.
  • David Tsunamy17. September 2010, 14:50

This bug is only present when using the native theme for Mac and only occurs when there is a list of many emails.

    Please fix this bug.

I have no right click events, nothing.. I need to install my M$ system back. Or change mouse.

Next time I stfu and launch a dos attack against Microsoft with my 0days (gdb and ndisasm help a lot, as they use some no-dab that can be easily contoured) :-/

Don't like to be taken as a full by these m$ peoples, and it's called citizen-acts against goliath :irked:
  • Daniel Aleksandersen17. September 2010, 15:02

David Tsunamy, the bug you describe is cross platform and well known.

  • Adrien17. September 2010, 15:08

Sorry, I'm a little bit hard but I'm angry.
And when it's here, I can do everything.
  • wkoncki17. September 2010, 15:12

Browser UI freezes sometimes and only gestures are working. When I perform a gesture it unfreezes and I can click links etc again. When It's freezed no mouse input like clicks or scrolling works. Win7 x64

    Confirmed. Windows XP SP3.
  • mapel11017. September 2010, 15:19

Mod edit: Keep the noise down, please. Read the FAQ to learn about what kind of feedback is needed.

That will change in the UI, no worry.
opera:config on the other hand will not be changed. Making changes there will cause upgrade problems. You'll find a lot of outdated terms there (like 'page' for tab etc).
