A second Barracuda Release Candidate
Here is a second release candidate for Opera 11.10 ("Barracuda"). Since we are so close to release the change log is a little smaller than normal, with a focus on critical fixes.
Once again, thanks to all the snapshot users for your testing.
Known issues
Note: Before reporting any possible release blockers, please consider doing a clean install to verify if it still happens there. Some problems seem to be caused by "dirty" installations of snapshots on top of older snapshots with experimental code.

Seems to work here. If opera is already installed, change the install path, after that you change it to 'usb'
Edit: I'm getting slow...

This happens with the default skin and downloaded skins.
Also with a fresh profile (after deleting %appdata%\opera)

when you do a right click to open a contextual menu and a left click to close it, another contextual menu opens.
Win 7, clean install.

I also notice performance regressions throughout all tests I perform, e.g. Sunspider and Peacekeeper, comparing an "old and dirty" 11.01 to a clean 11.10 RC.
No extensions installed, using default skin on Win7 64.
It's not dramatic, but constantly 5-10% slower.

By the way does someone have a problem with Opera's download manager history? I see only some downloaded items there, others-constantly disappear from that list, so that actually i have no history of downloaded items.

I thought it might be related to mail, because after launch the first freeze happens right after the "new mail notification" popup in the lower right corner is shown. But launching Opera with -nomail doesn't change matters.
Linux x86_64, Ubuntu 10.04.

Tabs still get cut off for me. The first column works fine, but the tab bar doesn't expand if a second column is needed, so the second column is only shown partially and any subsequent not at all with the Windows Native skin; with the "Opera Standard" skin the second column is completely hidden.
This is with a fresh install and a fresh profile.

Opera for Debian/Linux now depends on ttf-liberation | ttf-mscorefonts-installer. I don't want these fonts on my system! DejaVu Looks way better then Liberation's Arial on my systems. And I cannot use MS' Arial for obvious legal reasons.
Edit:
Even this comment is displayed in Arial. The css specifies this as a list of fonts.
"trebuchet ms", "lucida grande", "lucida sans unicode", "arial", "helvetica", sans-serif
All Microsoft fonts...
It used to fall back to sans-serif wich is DejaVu Sans, wich looks perfect. But now it uses liberation-Arial, wich is ugly. Even MS-Arial is ugly on a non-MS system. Trebuchet or Lucida would probably look as good as DejaVu, but Arial doesn't. I don't want this font!

I've been trying to figure out why the widgets are displayed like that and in fact I did a complete uninstall/reinstall of Opera last time since that was advised in the last Desktop Blog post. My old widgets were still there (odd) and are still shown twice after deleting and reinstalling. Strangely, I installed a new version of TouchTheSky for O11 which is only listed one time. Is this to do with the widget or because I never installed it before?
Anyway, I just reasoned that if Opera thinks there are *two* widgets called "SimplestClock" open during upgrade, but only one actually gets shut down, then that might be why it thinks there was some kind of error...
