There's a problem with The Daily Show's comments section on the Full Episodes part: http://www.thedailyshow.com/full-episodes/wed-march-7-2012-cecile-richards
Scroll down to the comments, and you will notice that the words are missing spaces between them. I'm using Opera 11.61, but it's been like this for many versions back.
CalebFriday, March 9, 2012 12:04:20 PM
Basically, once the image is fully loaded, you see a bunch of grey lines at various intervals across it. The grey lines disappear if I scroll the page.
Has anyone noticed this behaviour? (I'm on Win 7 x64, with Radeon HD5850 + Catalyst 12.1)
Edit: I'm finally able to reproduce it consistently. Looks like it has to do with loading an image with a zoom level. Set your zoom level to 150%, and load this image: http://www.scottaaronson.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/10.jpg
You can play with zoom levels and hit F5 to refresh, and you will see the bug.
Edit2: Here's how I see it: http://i.imgur.com/Z2T2P.jpg

So is it working now to drag tab to another monitor and maximize it there in one operation (it works in Chrome)?

If I download the "Opera-11.62-1327.exe" file in Linux Ubuntu 11.04 32bit, the file downloads ok, but if I, then, restart Opera, the file is gone from the list of downloaded files in the Downloads Tabs. Is this a bug or some security measure?
Opera 11.62 1327. @ Ubuntu 11.04 Natty 2.6.38-13-generic-pae
Edit: Also happens on Win 7 x64 SP1
(Note, that in the previous build there was some weird behavior with the "Opera-*.deb" file download whereby Opera failed to remember the download folder after restart -it reverted to /home/), but it's gone in this build)

"Error: Breaks existing package 'opera' conflict: opera ( )"
This got finally fixed on Wahoo, but 11.6 packages are still giving this error on upgrading!

This fix is now in Debian Sid and will eventually filter its way down other Debian, Ubuntu, Mint, etc. versions.

Unable to use the drop down menu and select another value in the
1) print preview options (page size)
2) webserver login windows (user/pass selection) [I mean the .htaccess generated logins, not html forms using the wand function]
Also the problem with viewing MHT pages is still not fixed (every stored mht page has a thick white frame around the content, when open with Opera).
And, there is still a long-term problem with occassionally missing favicons in the Bookmarks Bar (which re-appear when restarting Opera, but disappear again after some time).

Huzzah! Unblvbl for me
Finally, when I "drag and drop" tabs on tab bar with wrapping to multiple lines they are not always stacked with each other!
Memory leaks.
For example, go to http://my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/ - normal, but when I'm opening one of blog posts opera start to eat all my RAM and starting use CPU ~25% but when I close this tab, everything (RAM and CPU usage!) goes normal! Also I saw this on one other site and I guess it's not all sites. Anyone can confirm this?
Search in bookmarks.
When I'm using mouse gesture for close all trees (GestureLeft) in "manage bookmarks" tab, right panel lose focus that's why when I'm typing word in search field nothing happen until I click on right panel for focus.

"Settings for This View" are remembered on restart for all views, but in case of "Mailing Lists", the settings are lost on restart, and need to be reset every time there is restart.
I have reported this before, I hope this time this will be attended to.
Thanks.

But I found a new bug with the Full screen mode. Pressing F11 to toggle works as expected but when using the right click menu and selecting Full screen, it's borked like it was before the fix.

Would be nice to add support for Win8's built-in reader though, but of course in 12 and not here

11.61 works, 12 64x works, latest 5 builds of 11.62 didin't.

general remark: opera printing results are unusable in most cases. Switching to an other browser is the usual workaround. what a pity.

Yes, I can confirm that. In most cases, I have to set the page size to about 80%, instead of 100%. Otherwise, right parts of the page are usually printed separately as new "lines", so the page layout is completely broken. Fit to paper width does not work correctly either.

So you actually need a PDF-printer installed on your system. That is NOT part of Opera. Download and install Bullzip PDF Printer
Then just select "print" in Opera, select the PDF-printer and you're fine!
[edit:]sry, I was talking about Windows and didn't realize you're referring to that Linux stuff... was pretty hard to tell from what you wrote

So the 'prevent dataloss' mechanism means that Opera will refuse to load the mail data if the version number is higher that what it knows it can handle. In *this* case, it could actually work, because the upgrade only resets some display values that you are unlikely to notice. Change the 'Indexer version' number in /mail/index.ini back from 13 to 12, and the mail data will load in Opera 11.6x. There are no guarantees though that the next version change (from 13 to 14) will be as limited as this one.

Interestingly the last build of Wahoo installed without a hitch with gdebi. All of this made me think, that this might have something to do with packaging - along with the fact, that opera is the one and only application, that has ever triggered this kind of behaviour. And then of course... new install is different, because removing older version prior to installing new one has been the solution until now.

It has no such plugin for Opera. If it did, I wouldn't install it. I prefer to "print" my PDFs from applications using my standalone PDF printer software. In that way, I can control the name, the size, the quality and the type of PDF file before it is created - and I don't have to worry about plugin compatibility.
In fact, I prefer to avoid Acrobat and Acrobat reader altogether. They are resource hogs that cause compatibility problems with a number of drivers, etc.
