Hello? Is This Thing On?
Here is a new snapshot. As you will see from the changelog it only includes Core fixes, so if you are awaiting a specific platform or interface bug to be fixed, then this is not the snapshot that will resolve your specific issue. However, it does fix several bugs relating to connection issues, and although the list of bug fixes is not long it should fix a number of seemingly unrelated networking problems (including the dreaded "Waiting for DNS" issue). So if you were having connection issues then this is the build you have been waiting for.
Feedback about connection issues, is particularly welcomed.

WARNING: This is a development snapshot: it contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

1. Is my comment directly relevant to this snapshot?
2. Am I actually adding something new, or am I just repeating things that have already been said (including in previous snapshots)?
3. Is my comment brief, and yet descriptive?
4. Will it be possible for other people to understand what I'm referring to?
5. Is it a request of some kind? If so, it should be posted in the wish-list forum, not here.
For general discussions, please use the forums.
We simply cannot keep up with the amount of comments that are flowing in at the moment, and that is causing problems for everyone. If we can't go through the feedback, we may miss things, and that is not in anyone's interest. We may have to evaluate a new approach to limit the amount of comments if the current system doesn't work.

1. I'd like to scroll tab toolbar with scroll wheel. I have tabs on the left, and even that doesn't help with many tabs when working on something (~40 pages), the last ones are unreachable
2. I think rendering is horribly slow on ATI closed source binary drivers on Linux x86-64, but I can't switch to open-source drivers now and verify this, so no bug ticket for now.

When I start Opera after a restart of the computer everything fully reloads. If I close Opera, use Piriforms CCleaner and start Opera again a lot of sites aren't able to reload until the end:
From 35 pages 13 corrupted while reloading!

The only error I came across that it could not create the shortcut opera.lnk, or whatever it said lol...
But it worked much much better then before so it's good to me.
As for the connections issues, I'm sorry to report that the probs are still around, and I think it's even worse then before just a tiny bit.
I was able to verify right away just by trying to login into myspace.
There's other tests but that one is pretty good at it, for the moment.
Edit:
Oh and btw I tested without a proxy.
Working great with a proxy though...
Though it was loading very oddly.
In a diff order then before, I know opera runs diff now depending on what I ran in it 1st, and so on.
I noticed it was increasing the elements like normal, but then decreasing then off and on.
After a bit it got more elements then ever before and finished loading the page.
Well, close enough lmao, I'll post a pic showing you.
With a proxy.
http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/2456/13663041.jpg
That's as far as it got.
Note I tried twice before hand.
Cleared cache, then refreshed page, then cleared cache, went here to post, then edited and tried again to the side with the proxy enabled this time....
So it's better, not worse.
But it differs from one run to the next (leak?).
It's not fixed though.
But it's an improvement.
Thanks for trying

Maybe it's time for new more open to users bugtracker? Something with simple search functions. Allow people to track their reported issues. This will dramatically decrease amount of duplicate or often reported bugs. Users should know that the developers team is aware about reported issues and the developers are doing something about bug (closed, confirmed, wip etc.). That's all.

What is the likely hood of windows domain authentication being integrated into Opera 10.* or ever for that matter? (So I do not have to enter username password for proxy)

I also needed about 5 restarts of Opera to watch this:
http://rss.cnn.com/~r/rss/cnn_tech/~3/udgl7Ni_nNM/index.html
NOTE: cnn.com page was working perfectly before.
Can anyone confirm this frequent crashes?
May this problem be because I didn't started these few builds with clear profile (I kept my profile from previous snapshots, because I am tired of remaking all the font settings each time ... and setting up mail each time).

Also in the email view, sometimes clicking on random emails in my inbox does not show the contents in the pane below it. I have to click on another email and then click back to the original email to see its contents

Yes other sites, like yahoo mail are working so far.
Previous build I had troubles with yahoo mail sometimes.
But I did verify that in v10.10 I'm still able to fully login to myspace with no probs, just checked.
And no matter how many times I try I can't get it to fully load in this build.
It gets stuck on both the dns cookie confirmation msg and the req completed msg.
Loading is more consistant when I clear the cache and do a fresh run of opera.
It differs each time I load the page when it's allready been running, even after clearing the cache.
It also seems slightly more consistant with a proxy enabled then without, but not much.
I'm glad other are reporting the probs with crashes after flash video's have played, and images not loading all the way.
The images one, I've seen that on big images, around a meg in size, will load about 20% or so, then stop drawing, until fully loaded.
But other then that I haven't seen any real image loading issues in these builds.
But the flash crash thing, I've seen crashes on the previous build.
Maybe with enough info they can track that problem down, I haven't been able to find a video that crashes every time I run it.

Right now I restored my previous saved profile, and I just found out that Opera Link is not working??? It says all right and bright, but no bookmarks or speeddial downloaded ... OK, I take that back ... after about 10 minutes notes and bookmarks are back ... but still no speeddial.
No crash in the last 10 minutes, so this is a step forward, I hope it will be good, or at least better.

1) Deleted all cookies (site related, not all from all sites).
2) Deleted cashe.
It didnt fix the issue.

After I removed the opera button form the tab bar toolbar.
Note the empty toolbar that is keeping the tab's from reaching the top of it's main toolbar.

After going from top to off for that toolbar.

After restart, it's all back to where it was on the 1st pic if I have the tab bar toolbar in view on the right side of the screen.
Perhaps it's allmost time to add support in the gui for the tail and header toolbars of each main toolbar...
As a check box.
Imgshack is another site I've having probs loading, not allways a prob, about 50/50.
Even got a gateway timeout error page from opera.
Which I thaught was odd, for one I've never seen it before, and 2, I wasn't waiting that long after a upload for any sort of timeout to happen.
McKee Sloan30. March 2010, 14:40
I've a question about the recent snapshots, though: is there a way to make it so that the O button (the one that opens the menu) does not reappear every time I open the browser? I know I can put on the menu view, but I'd rather it just not be there all together.
I know this doesn't have anything to do with the fixes today and I know that it wasn't claimed to be fixed; I was going to put it in the last snapshot's comments but they were way too long.
[Edit:]
Wow. I swear I searched for the answer to this through every page of the last one and through the first comments of this one...and then, right before posting about it, someone else says something. Sorry. :-(
