There seems to be something new about it in this build, please read this comment of mine: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/findpost.pl?id=13283182

btw:
Have anyone else problem with images? (caching I think) time to time most of images disappear and I have to "ctrl+f5" (only F5 doesnt solve it)..
and.. after +- 5 Opera´s stop working in a row (relating bug what was fixed in this build) .. all my tab with only image (60+) and pages with images get broken - alt + F5 doenst solve it.. only "reload image" image by image solve it for a while.. until I load another page in this tab.. opening it in another tab is needed.. or "reloading image" over and over.. some workaround?

It is crazy to reopen all old tabs as new tab. I use these tabs from version 11.50 next (and probably earlier) and it is broken from some build of 12.50 next.danielsroFriday, October 26, 2012 11:53:35 PM

Sorry, I'm not testing 12.10, just observing the progress, so can't tell you what happens with that version.
EDIT - Looking at the page's source, it seems to be a test image related to "CORE-49107 Disallow internet shortcuts in frames (+ svg images)" mentioned above (comes up with some star then redirects to another page). Couldn't the test, if it is one, have redirected to some page explaining that it was a purposeful redirect to test the fix?

It -still- doesn't work right.
Everything that I print comes out all sorts of screwed up.
Printing works fine in all other programs.

Can this change be ported to 12.03 (security upgrade) ? This is getting out of control.

1. Right clicking on address bar and selecting "CUT" will randomly decide NOT TO CUT the address contents, so you have to repeat it to get it right. This is a bug for many releases now. Has nobody noticed?
1b. Also I just noticed that right clicking on the addressbar has DIFFERENT behavior if you click on the lower or upper part of the bar -still within the text box. This could or could not be related to 1a.

http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/2283/rightclicktwo.jpg
2. Opera's checkbox in the dialogue when you want to "never ask you again" about which torrent client to use, is for some sites UNCLICKABLE. Example: any torrent from www.legittorrents.info (legal free content in case anybody is wondering).

Isn't it bad practice to keep these unfriendly bugs for so long?

I hope that some moderation will lift the wrong flag (although judging from last time, I am not sure anyone actually looks into these). I am not reposting it
netmainSaturday, October 27, 2012 8:44:30 AM
is it a bug or just because opera is more strict when it comes to secure pages ?

However, Opera Next 64-bit fails to show the edit box that should be there at the end, so to speak on the last line.
Consequently it's not possible to suggest improvements with Opera.
Compare it to Firefox and you will see what is missing.
Not playing streaming flac files on sites like minus.com - mentioned as comment for 12.10-1624 - nothing fixed yet.
Waaah! Nice speed improvement.

I hope this is a strong indicator for even more prefetching in Opera.
Guest703Saturday, October 27, 2012 12:49:01 PM
Why? Where is the option to enable DNS prefetching for HTTPS? I use the Swiss Knife extension (Opera's equivalent of HTTPS-Everywhere) and my entire browsing experience revolves around using as much HTTPS as possible.
Please allow users to enable this for HTTPS as well.
