Thursday 11.62 snapshot
It's Thursday, and time for another 11.62 snapshot.
As you can see from the changelog it's mainly about stability, but we've also fixed an issue where window controls (resize, minimize, close) would not be available when the menu bar was enabled, and the close button on each tab was disabled.
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

2) When we set store password as 'Never' it asks again once the browser is restarted. Also it asks on a separate machine.
3) When is the gmail font fix coming ? It is irritating to always choose all the text and select normal font size

Same problem at mymovies.net. Not surprising because the above is a feed from http://mymovies.net. Watching whole trailer then pressing "Replay" also causes Opera to crash.
This is not a problem in the Windows version.

The memory leak happens even upon opening fresh, empty Opera - precisely speaking only with one external page "redir.opera.com" - that is when Opera wants to access web via proxy to load a page.
It looks like it has something to do with authorizing in proxy and displaying the auth windows at the same time. Here is a minimal testcase .pac (proxy autoconficguration) file.
The memory leak almost never happens if I launch Opera with "Use proxy servers" option off and turn it on later.
What else should I report to help you remove the bug? Any memory dump with memguard?
Here is a spectacular screenshot - the memory usage went up from 600MB to 2,73GB in only a minute after launching Opera.
The memory leak occurs only if the IP in .pac file points to a real proxy - so Opera can connect it (and display auth window/prompt for password to proxy - visible on my screenshot). If the IP is bogus, the auth window will not display and memory leak will not occur.
Please fix it ASAP. It is a critical bug. No-one in my few-thousand-people company can use Opera as it is totally unsusable - because of this memory leak it immediately uses whole RAM and stops displaying pages and refuses to work correctly.

Apple site works, QuickTime works...
Cnet site works, well they even remove that trojan wrapper downloader for Opera that's nice.
Maybe only the video on The Virge site full screen controls are a bit jerky and flashing progress when in full screen, other than that great work.

It loads only if I enable content blocking. Otherwise it gets stuck, so I guess it has to do with one of their ads.
Happens both in Opera 11.62 (1304) and Opera 12.00 (1301), Windows 7 x64 SP1.
Does not happen in Firefox or Chrome. (no content blocking in either)

I am running the latest 10.62 snapshot, and I'm pretty happy with it, but I have a question related to blocking content, if possible on a permanent basis: I have noted that on some websites (one in particular: www.betanews.com), the home page keeps loading like forever, and I think it's related with some content I have no use for, namely all the "Like" and "Share" buttons that are sitting at the bottom of each article preview. Is there a way to block that kind of content? I don't have a Facebook account, and I never tweet, so I really have no use for this.
