YAS (Yet another snapshot)
Hi Guys,
As some of you have noticed, there were 4 snapshots in a row last week. So we have decided to tease you more and release another one today
There was not much time to get to the issues reported by you during the weekend but still we have some fixes. As you may guess, we are putting effort to make the browser more shiny and stable.
Our jewel for today is the fix for Restore button closing Opera that many of you have complained about. We have also added support for sending GPU details in crashlogs and we believe this will help us improve the Hardware Acceleration feature. There are fixes for the Opera Mail UI, something for RTL users on Linux, and some site compability issues (including one with Facebook API
)
There were a few comments regarding rendering issues (UI, web page, scrolling). Please check them with Hardware Acceleration off first and then, if they still exist, send us a comment/report.
Thanx for testing
WARNING: This is a development snapshot: It contains the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes, and data loss situations. In fact, it may not work at all.

Is there any chance to give back the ability of uniting folder with the same names (as I wrote here: http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=1332222)?
Thanks!

Again the same problems as previous 2.
Installer info button popup has transparent background and the text in the info popup is cut from the bottom.
Installer's progress bar is pale.
Opera interface is not rendered correctly, almost all elements are black.
Browser is not loading any pages.
I really hope you are not near RC!

Install any theme and enable it
press shift+f12 and select "Opera Unix Skin"
When the "Opera Unix Skin" is enabled, the appearence windows is hidden and I need alternate to other application and back to Opera to see the appearence dialog again.
Confirm?

1) Mailing List loses its sort sequence on every restart
2) Searching in "All Messages" does not give accurate results
3) "Search Mail" and "Quick Find" show same result
4) "Status Field" does not give accurate numbers.
5) Search engine moves very slow while searching.
Thanks for working on improving these flaws too.

Infinite loading with the last resource is also very common - why not include a timeout, especially with javascript resources that come from different domains? It is very tiring to always wait for advertisement networks to respond.
A very common flaw is that I have to re-click links to slow sites several times before Opera starts loading them at all.

Scrolling performance still behind 11.64 (hwa disabled).
Panel toggle doesn't respect color changes.
Flash performance - very poor.

The "mail database loading" bug, introduced 3 builds ago, makes Opera 12 totally unusable. Back to build 1424 again.

black addressbar in native skin, still present
using alternative stylesheet, when you click a link, Opera returns to default style, so that the alternative stylesheet is useless.

If an URL contains an anchor the page is displayed twice. First, the page is displayed as if there were no anchor in the URL and a fraction of a second later the page is displayed with the anchor position at the top of the rendering area. This kind of flickering needlessly stresses the eyes and is a regression from Opera 11.64.

Here you are: http://www.theverge.com/2012/5/25/3042640/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-review
Scrolling is much more choppier as in IE9. Using this build (64-bit) on Win7 x64 with HWA off.
Christian WaldeXenoFurMonday, May 28, 2012 7:17:49 PM
Edit: And builds 1429 as well as 1431 do it as well. Build 1424 is the last one to work.
