Opera Mobile for Symbian Series 60 is coming

April 4, 2009 · by Haavard

It's official. Opera for S60 is being worked on. The S60 version has been briefly mentioned before, but now it's clear that it actually exists, and that the lucky Opera Mobile guys get to play with it.

Details are scarce at the moment, but rumours have it that this version is actually something special. It is not just a port of the current Windows Mobile browser, to put it that way...

As for timeframe, I would not even dare to guess. The Opera Mobile team will hopefully get back to us with more details in the near future.

I don't own a credit card, and I have no plans to get one. What is the chance of alternative payment methods being introduced for South Africans? .
