UserJS - use all the time to change Page Titles among other fixes.
UserCSS - use all the time to fix poor usability/visibility.
Window (Tab) Panel (could be so much better) ---> Indicate Locked tabs in the window panel. ---> Allow multiple levels of "stacks". ---> Make windows in the window panel more like a bookmark, where the container is just that - the container and not just a pseudo-container whose title constantly changes depending on which tab (of that stack) is active. While this could certainly still occur, allow a locked Parent-item (think bookmark folder) to have a Custom Non-changing Name.
Bookmark Panel
Notes ... but man it could be so much better.
Sessions ... but it feels like a decade since this got any love. ---> E.g. a REAL session manager that you can view in a "Speed Dial" like interface. ---> E.g. a Window that remembers its SessionName. AutoSaves to that session-name. Provides that session-name when you go to save a session. ---> E.g. a GROUP of windows that can belong to the same session. ---> And all windows Autosave to autosave.win ... :-)
Wand - but I use this much less now with LastPass. --- Since Opera doesn't allow you to edit the path/address where a password should be applied. And since you can't change or edit a password. Once you forget a password, and a site changes at all - the password in opera becomes useless.
User-Definable hotkeys, that can include JS
User-Definable Interface. Put shit where you want & Hide what you don't.
Native Tabs on the Left
Competent Mail.
Secure Cache, since opera uses oprAAAAAA file naming structure for the cache - disables Virus/Trojan-like behaviour of sites to explicitly call a downloaded JS/or EXE via the cache.
Expansive Skin Capability.
Plus Everything, Everyone else has said.
What Defines Opera? The USER defines Opera (and mostly sane defaults out of the box)...and crashing, theres always crashing ... but many Opera users push it pretty hard *Raise Hand*

I love Opera for:
- nice look and feel - speed - notes - insert personal, insert note - speeddial - wand: multiple entries to one site - mouse gestures - save as mht - keyboard shortcuts - zoom with mouse wheel
What should be corrected: - manually resetting link: "now push my local settings to server", "now download settings from server". After upgrades, by bookmarks and search engines are often spoiled - print configuration, page setups. I print a lot (to pdf, saving paper)
