Opera 10 Beta 2

Today we released Opera 10 Beta 2. This beta contains updates to the skin and icons by Jon Hicks and a new little secret you might be able to find if you are unable to find the page you are looking for :whistle:

This Beta does not contain Opera Unite as that was released as a Labs snapshot and not as a beta. If you take a look at the banner up top you can see that the labs build will merge with the current Beta to create the upcoming Opera 10! Opera Unite is still being worked on, so have no fear!

The desktop crew wants to thank all of you for submitting through the new Automated Crash Reporting tool. By helping us you are improving the stability of Opera so that Opera 10 can be the most stable browser ever!

    Instead, I'm downloading the latest Snapshot :bigsmile:.

    By the way: Maybe you want to change old pictures on opera.com/next showing an old version of the new skin :wink:.

    wt's best to download now ? Beta 2 or the latest snapshot ?
    I've been downloading snapshots quite a while now and Im satisfied with them
    EDIT: Of course I'll download it (it's opera!) but I want to know which will be more stable and has the most new features ?

    i am using opera since vers8 was out!And when I tested version 10 I was amazed :bigsmile: how fast loading pages, looks, and new features

    Great! PLEASE - add a function to Mail that will allow to place the signature automatically ABOVE the quoted text.
    This is the only feaute I'm really missing in Mail.

    Thats great i was also facing problems with the earlier opera 10 beta. It sometimes do not let me sign in. Actually sometime it does not allow the cookies.

    Why not add the panel toggle on the edge of full screen mode?? It would be very usefull to browse in small screens, tablets... (Or it already exists and I don't know how to use it :whistle: ?

    Opera is a great thing, but i am missing the possibility to disable things before launch, to keep it small when you don't want to give it half of your recsources.
