I've been using Opera since I was in 7th grade 8 years ago and I am a huge fan and always tell others to install Opera. But right now I dont.
Opera 12 is very likely the most unstable Opera version I've ever used. Constant page freezes for a minute or two, many of them turn into total crashes. And there is no option to send crash reports or anything. Opera doesn't even notice the crash?!
Please work on it, I want to be able to suggest opera to my friends again.

I'm really sorry to say, dear developers and Opera Strategics:
No. 12 really is the poorest release of all in the last years. You may enlighten "browser nerds", but put off common browser users.
And you already know about it! When reading your introduction at the top of this "Instant Makeover" page it is filled up with advertising language at its best. You even do not shrink from promoting your very bad "Themes idea and handling" in a way that everybody instantly recognizes you decided to do something clearly wrong - in many cases of that "problem". It seems you have no other choice but to convince the fading community... I am waiting for the day you back-pedal to features as in version 11 plus the in-depth improvements of version 12. Meanwhile, don't be disappointed that (from tomorrow on) I will be using Firefox until the release of Opera 13 :-)

Themes are a big step backwards in terms of UI customizability. A simple background image?! I was irritated when that was announced as "Personas" for Firefox (see http://www.getpersonas.com ). I don't see any benefit to this... And you alienated many loyal skin developers (where are all the advanced skins like Z1-Glass or IBIS-Inspire? Their developers did not switch to developing themes, but simply stopped...) I like Opera a lot and have been using it since 2001, but the latest development decisions make me look at other browsers again. Not yet switching, though, but I'm worried.
